The grapes come from the best and oldest parcels of the legendary Ried Zieregg, whose lean coral limestone soils and cool microclimate on the Slovenian border provide an exceptionally mineral and profound style. The 2019 vintage shows enormous calm and precision. The wine appears dense and concentrated, yet at the same time taut and almost cool in its structure.
